Only an attested NDT laboratory can hold non-destructive testing on hazardous production facilities subordinate to Rostekhnadzor. The NDT laboratory of Expert STC provides non-destructive testing on the following methods: |
NDT is held by operators attested to levels II and III for the relevant methods and having all the necessary equipment. NDT operating tools are verified and calibrated under control of an inhouse metrological service. Work on facilities of major state companies keeping their own registers, including ROSATOM, PJSC Gazprom, PJSC Transneft, is only done with equipment having all the necessary conclusions and certificates.
For each of our objects, a testing chart is developed based on analysis of directive documents and specifics of the object. Following the testing results, a conclusion is issued and be signed by the responsible NDT operator, with the organization’s seal affixed. If necessary, integrated operation is possible including both holding tests and working out methodology and approval of process flow charts.
The standardized objects that can be tested include:
- oil and gas industry facilities including those intended for drilling, operation and repair of wells;
- gas supply systems including gas pipelines and gas equipment;
- construction facilities including buildings, structures, bridges and other metal structures of various industries;
- objects of boiler supervision including steam and water heating boilers, vessels and pipelines operating at a pressure above 0.07 MPa;
- hoisting devices including control of cranes, lifts and manipulators and lifting rigs;
- equipment of explosion-hazardous and chemically hazardous production facilities including those operating in vacuum or under a pressure above 16 MPa, as well as inspection of tanks, containers, cylinders, pumping and refrigerating plants, centrifuges and separators;
- radiographic testing including those of high thickness values involving use of gamma radiation sources;
- parameters of roughness of various parts;
- welded joints and base metal at other hazardous facilities including performance of work related using classified information.
